Mam Tor and the Great Ridge

Walking from Mam Tor along the Great Ridge the scenery is spectacular with three hills to climb before the descent into Castleton. The first hill pictured is Hollins Hill which is a gritstone hill and is 450 metres above sea level. In the middle of the three hills sits Back Tor the highest at 538 metres. The final summit in the distance is Lose Hill at 476 metres above sea level. A light mist lying in the in the valley at the end of a beautiful day.
