The Rook Portrait.

The Rook (Corvus frugilegus) is very common in cultivated fields where there are small groups of trees or small woods. This handsome colourful specimen was photographed in Newgale, Pembrokeshire sitting on a picnic table. I wanted to capture the detail of the head and plumage.
