The Boathouse at Laugharne – Dylan Thomas
The Boathouse is situated on the estuary at Laugharne, in which the poet Dylan Thomas lived with his family between 1949 and 1953, the last four years of his life. It was at this house that he wrote many major pieces. It has often been suggested that he wrote Under Milk Wood whilst living here. The house is set in a cliff overlooking the Tâf Estuary.
